The garage door was installed in about 2 hours. The capping around the frame took longer, but I think is a must when getting a new garage door. Overall, the garage door looks excellent, it is also much quieter then my old garage door. All the cabling for the door censor was installed back nicely and neatly. I would recommend Fix it Right Garage Doors to other looking for a new garage door.

Trustworthy. Fast. Quality work. Competitive price. What more can you ask. Great overall experience !My garage door would not open and I could see the main spring at the top was broken. After doing a quick google search for someone local, I called this company at about 1:30PM on Feb 22nd and spoke with Daniel. After some explanation over the phone, he was able to give me a rough estimate and indicated that someone can be there within 2-4 hours to replace the spring. By 5PM the door was fixed. Since I was not home, the technician called me to let me know what was done, including some lubrication and adjustments and if I have any questions. He then emailed me the invoice for the price that was quoted. I only checked the price later to find that it was indeed competitive. Although my priority was to get the door fixed properly and quickly, it was comforting to know that the price was good too. I received a call the next day from the owner to make sure everything was done to my satisfaction. Great service. These days, it seems harder and harder to find a company you can trust, and that will do quality work, quickly and at a competitive price. This is one of those companies. I will definitely call them again for anything garage door related.

I am beyond satisfied with the work that was performed by Shawn today. Efficient on time, clean, and professional work. Today it was the broken gasket on the bottom of the door but a few years ago it was springs on top of the door. Good thing I saved his number. Since the first call, they were very professional and I would highly recommend this company if you have any trouble with your garage door. They had a same day service call, Joseph came to my place and replace 2 springs within an hour. That's what my spring looked like, and now I have new springs and my garage door is working fine.

We contacted Fix It Right to come and take a look at our garage door that needing to be replaced. I called and left a message, within the hour Shawn called back to answer our questions and send over some images of designs that we spoke of. We booked a time for someone to come by to take a look at our double garage to confirm costing, timeline and the scope of the job. Joseph came by a few days later to discuss the work that needed to be done. When we had spoken to Shawn we had questions about the insulation and he made sure that Joseph brought samples so that we could see the quality and thickness of it. Joseph was very helpful in talking through the design options to ensure that it matched the style of our house and had reference material so that I was able to see the different options he spoke of. Joseph was incredibly knowledgeable and let us know exactly what steps would be taken to ensure we got the best quality door. Which included the higher powered opener to ensure smooth opening, a belt driven opener for quieter operation and the higher than standard insulation in the door which has improved the temperature in the laundry room that shares the wall with the garage. None of these came as “extra” options on top of a base price but included in the quote that we received. The installers did a fantastic job. They gutted everything and made sure all new components were used (many companies we spoke to will re-use a lot of the rails etc.) and were secure/level for a smooth operation. They put all of the materials being used on sawhorses, so they didn’t scuff up our new driveway. After installation they removed absolutely everything and swept out the garage so it was ready for us to park in without worry of a rouge screw. They sent over someone the next day to install matching flashing which was the perfect finishing touch and the installers even made sure to use the matching caulking. Overall, we were absolutely thrilled with how the garage door turned out!
